2023 ACADEMY AWARD GAVE RECOGNITION TO A GLOBAL PANDEMIC MOVIE AND A COCKY ANTI VAXXER SINGER
This year academy award to air on ABC on March 27
The Academy announced the Oscar nominations on Tuesday with The Power of the Dog receiving 12 nominations, the most of all films, with Dune in a close second.
Other contenders include Belfast, West Side Story and Licorice Pizza. Fan favorites Encanto, No Time to Die and Don’t Look Up were nominated as well.
The Academy gave a surface level global crisis/pandemic movie multiple nominations while also nominating an original song by a cooky anti vaxxer.
The 94th Academy Awards will air on March 27 on ABC.
