In the Ghanaian village of Mamfe Dove, pregnant women are not allowed to deliver in the village because it’s believed that it will offend the gods. Some expectant mothers end up making last-minute journeys in excruciating pain to avoid breaking the tradition. Africans sometimes carry all this irrelevant laws and traditions on their heads without reasoning.

This is a tradition that has gone on for decades and continually observed by the village fistula who solidly believes in the traditional way of doing things, although the root of the matter counldnt be reached, but it was a widely and generall believes of all traditionalist in the village. Africans are labored with diverse and irrational believes of some kinds and continually eulogies them even when the believes doesn't have a common substance to contribute to the growth and development of their existence.

Although some Ghanaian believes this myth doesn't exist as they are ignorant of the said common law, but those widely affected by it observe it to avoid unforeseen calamitous instances fall on them.
