APC PLANS TO RETAIN POWER IN 2023 NOT  CONSISTENT

The All Progress Congress (APC) has been suspected to be putting up some new plans to retain power come 2023 general election. Presently, the party has chosen a date in February to convey his general convention.

Despite the party considering a northerner as the party chairman, it has also hinted that northerners who are interested in contesting the presidency will be allow to contest in the primaries. 

The party is also considering throwing the primaries open for all and sundry of the party who might be willing to take part in the primaries. Irrespective of who or where they come from.

Meanwhile, the APC has yet to inform the Independent National Electoral Commission of its planned national convention even as activities leading up to its convention begin this week, 

In a related development, the factional Chairman of the APC in Bauchi State, Sanusi Kunde, said that the national reconciliation committee of the party had yet to visit the state to reconcile warring factions.
