Prime Minister Boris Johnson will chair an emergency Cobra meeting in response to the terrorist attack at Liverpool Women’s Hospital, according to Downing Street.

The Prime Minister also held a COVID-19 press conference alongside Chief Scientific Adviser Sir Patrick Vallance and Chief Medical Officer Chris Whitty after Number 10 announced earlier the expansion of the booster programme to people over the age of 40.

Johnson said he could not "categorically rule out" another Christmas lockdown and urged eligible people to get their boater vaccines.

on the attack in Liverpool, four men who was arrested in relation to the bomb blast outside Liverpool Women's Hospital have been released. An eye witness disclosed that;

Meanwhike, the police has confirmed that the man who died in Sunday’s explosion outside Liverpool Women's Hospital was a 32-year-old Emad Al Swealmeen. It was also believed that he was the same man who detonated the explosion.
