COUTINHO TO JOIN EVERTON ON A £40M MOVE

An operation is taking shape to send Coutinho to Everton for 40M. Although, Barcelona paid 167M with add ons for him, but they will be willing to let him go for as much as 40m. It seems football clubs are managed by business professionals these days and it's killing the game. Barca paid 128.5 for him if we’re talking about pounds. The 20 million add on won’t be activated. You got 8.5 from the bayern loan. And there’s no way he’s going for 40 without add ons either.

The 167m is including all the add ons and it is in euros. I doubt Everton would pay 40m in cash and also include add ons. I think they could be paying him a whooping signing fee as presumably his salary at barca is upwards of 300k a week which I doubt Everton would pay and Barca definitely need to shift. So it overall it's probably alot higher than 40 mill, but that's what Barca are getting.

At this point, Barce needs to cut the loss and move on. If thry hang onto him, they will lose more money. Atleast they get some money back plus off loading his wages will help them gain about 50M in total. If barca had agreed to collect 90m from Bayern, they would've off load him earlier while saving more money and gaining more through his sales and he would have been a better 10 player at bayern
