HOPES ON FURTHER ISSUES FOR THE NIGERIAN LAWMAKERS

On the dailies today, there are news that Gives a strong impression that the country Nigeria is in desperate need for insurgence and redistribution of thoughts, power, position, strategises, priorities at the helm of the country’s greatest offices. Without these it seems difficult to see the possibility of a better nation.

In retrospect, to think that a couple of lawmakers could naively think they could get away with a stupid act but which will be considered as heroic in Nigerian could not be over emphasised. The stings in the flesh of these lawmakers is further exagerated when it was made known that these set of pack actually travelled abroad for a leadership training exercise but found themselves in a sex scandal makes a mockery of a supposed lawmakers for the agents of change which had become an acronym synonimuous to hunger, high crime rate, inflated economy and more destructive measures for the common masses who have ignorantly voted for the change propagandist.

The story on the incidence goes that Gololo grabbed a maid in the hotel and requested for sex, Ikon and Gbilla were said to have told hotel parking attendants to get commercial sex workers for them. The purported sexual misconducts happened sometime in April at the Residence Inn Marriot, Downtown Cleveland and were immediately reported to State Department officials by the hotel’s management.

The House of Representatives members who reacted to the allegations and threats of legal action, as local witnesses in Cleveland and sources close to State Department and the Nigerian diaspora community in Washington DC informed relevant U.S. officials, that they are in possession of records specifying “circumstances of” the alleged misconduct, comprising of “eyewitness reports” and real-time “video” evidence.

The other day, the leader of these change pack was supposedly begging avengers and their families to take it easy on their destructive ways which they had choose to toe for thei voices to be heard when initially during campaigns have promised head over heavens to put the country back into normalcy from any insurgencise that might rise against it. Although a Muslim friend shared with me that he could only talked soft as he and his fellow Muslims are in a month of Ramadan which a strong word as rising against or destroying anyone could be see as a gross expression as he been (the president) a Ramadan observer himself.

There are insinuations that they are desperately trying “to bring disrepute to the hallowed institution of the National Assembly and the entire nation of Nigeria”, as a source informed said the intention was to put out there that some participants in the International Visitor Leadership Programme (IVLP), not all, are guilty of sexual misconduct and to educate participants who may be admitted for this and other programmes in future.

But really, as the arguement lingers and investigations a under way, this allegation could be false but the fact that they will give a little chance for this allegations to be levied against them could only leaves a marvel expression and a further deterioration of the already bastardise image of the country. I believe a thing like this always generated a lotta heat either they are found guilty or not but I also smell something on the inside, something on the inside which could turn the destiny and shape of this country foever due to a personal investigations and permutations. Wouldnt give a hint of it yet as there’s need for further investigation to further ascertain a the brewing theories.
