HOW DR DRE BRING HIP HOP TO THE SUPER BOWL WITH HIS TEAM
The super bowl fourteen minutes performance during halftime is the best moment of the sport action
Hip-hop finally came to the Super Bowl when Dr. Dre led a team of his closest collaborators in a festive, funky, thoroughly trunk-rattling halftime show.
Dr. Dre took over the field at Inglewood’s SoFi Stadium, close to where he grew up in Compton, alongside Snoop Dogg, Mary J. Blige, Eminem and Kendrick Lamar for a nearly 14-minute spectacle.
The show was a proud celebration of Black L.A. from the get-go: It was a jarring and disappointing half time that lacked inspiration, beauty, true musicality, beautiful voices and poetry.
During the Super Bowl halftime show, Eminem took a knee and held his head after performing "Lose Yourself." An NFL spokesman said the league was aware that he was planning to kneel.
Snoop Dogg smokes weed right before star-studded Super Bowl 2022 halftime show.
50 Cent made an unannounced appearance hanging upside while starting "In Da Club" and dropping down to the dancefloor. He joined Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Mary J. Blige, Eminem and Kendrick Lamar for the performance.
