There are clear indications that if Romelu Lukaku had his way, he wouldn't have signed for Chelsea again this new season, there are tons of reasons that the inter Milan forward was lured into the Chelsea contract by some circumstances beyond his reach.

First, the Belgian forward pay was one of the mechanism used to lure him to Chelsea. Romelu Lukaku will take home between £325,000 and £450,000-per-week, which make the 28-year-old move a bit ahead of his compatriot Kevin De Bruyne, who recently signed a £385,000-per-week contract at Manchester City.

De Bruyne’s new team mate, Jack Grealish is paid £380,000-per-week including bonuses. Lukaku, whose goals led Inter Milan to the Serie A title last season will now try the same for Chelsea.

Another caviar is that Romelu Lukaku was understood to have been happy to remain in Italy this season. Following his heroics in the last two seasons with Inter and his personal relationship with Antonio Conte.

Inter’s financial predicament also play a huge part in his movement. Chelsea’s £98m bid prove to be an offer too good for Inter Milan to refuse. Lukaku is set to wear the No 18 shirt for Chelsea, the same number he was given when he first joined from Anderlecht almost 10 years ago.

These are circumstances that play significant parts in Romelu Lukaku's signature for the Londoners.
