The end of the corona virus, an epidemic raging the world might have show its first crack in its grip on the globe as Russia discover a vaccine for the Nobel virus.

Russia has become the first country to have completed clinical trials of a Covid-19 vaccine, after Sechenov University said that it had concluded its study.

The research has been completed and it proved that the vaccine is safe & effective to use.

Earlier on Sunday morning, the results of the COVID-19 vaccine label tests results from Russia established that volunteers for the clinical trials were developing immunity to the coronavirus. This is definitely a good tidings and we hope this cure would create a lasting solution to the raging pandemic threatening to reduce the world population drastically.

Although, the United Kingdom has come up with a claim that people who have recovered from Covid-19 may lose their immunity to the disease within months, according to research suggesting the virus could reinfect people year after year, like common colds.

In the first longitudinal study of its kind, scientists analysed the immune response of more than 90 patients and healthcare workers at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS foundation trust and found levels of antibodies that can destroy the virus peaked about three weeks after the onset of symptoms then swiftly declined.

The study has implications for the development of a vaccine, and for the pursuit of “herd immunity” in the community over time.

The immune system has multiple ways to fight the coronavirus but if antibodies are the main line of defence, the findings suggested people could become reinfected in seasonal waves and that vaccines may not protect them for long.

But the fact that a clinical trial was successful in Russia, this is all the world needs to hear right now and further findings to strengthen it can be worked on and subsequently discovered to make the discovery better and more responsive.
