IFE/MODAKEKE NOT AT WAR, THERE’S NO CAUSE FOR PANIC, RESIDENCE WARNS

The Ife/Modakeke supposed crisis is a rumor which no one knows where it's coming from. The ancient city of Ile-Ife and its environs have been in relative peace for sometime now and following the rumor of the crisis that emanated last night, the relative peace experienced this morning banned all news that might suggest otherwise.

Although, about four days ago, there was a jungle justice melted on a son and his mother for a case of ritual killing, both victims are believed to be an indigene of the Modakeke settlement and the community have demanded a probe on the killing of the mother and her son. 

There's no crisis from modakeke or Ife. Clearly, Modakeke was aggrieved by the jungle justice melted on it indigenes by some Ife's, which clearly created an uproar and flaring of nerves, but the Modakeke king as an elderly head settled it and hurriedly calmed all flayed nerves. The Ooni of ife had also called for peace in his home.

Evidently, no one is calling for war between the two clan of the Yoruba descent. Modakeke is clearly calling for peace in this matter which is new mindset from the sect. They use to be the war inclined party in the past, but right now, their peaceful resolve is calming. Their only demand is that the police should investigate the jungle justice and it perpetrators to bring them to justice.
