It was gathered that Maina was arrested in the neighboring Niger republic last night, It's a huge pointer that the law enforcement officers in the country can only be made responsible for the deepen in corruption, whenever the law is upheld, is very difficult for an offender to walk free. when the judges decides to detain Ndume for the unavailability of Maina in court, a number of people are eager to tag it political preferencing. That the criticism of Ndume on Buhari is the reason he's jailed.

Eargerly sighting the example of Nnamdi Kanu, who jumped bail in the past and his surety wasn't arrested or jailed, but the judge in this case must have done what he did to prove a point, upholding the law and playing individual part is the only way to fight corruption, holding  the law enforcement agents responsible for thier action is the foundation to dismantling the pyramid of corruption built around this nation

Maina allegedly stole funds belonging to pensioners, he was arrested for trial, granted bail and escaped. A Senator of the Federal Republic stood in for him, he was sent to prison for not been able to produce Maina on court dates turned Ndume criticised Buhari. Now the fugitive has been arrested. But truth be told Standing surety for mega thieves is mega business, it's their way of commercializing their social standings. Once the courts specify the bail conditions, those that meet the criteria approach the accused and render the service at a fee, then they become emergency activists.

Activism doesn't give immunity, if you are an activist don't stand in for someone who stole money from the elderly, the double standard here is that the Senator who stood in for Nnamdi Kanu is still working freely not that Ndume didn't deserve going to prison. Running away from the law is an admission of guilt in itself. Until Maina is prosecuted, jailed and made to pay restitution, Ndume might still stand at a risk of Maina jumping bail, if  it   happened again, it's another drama in the episodes of the Maina Nollywood Series. It wouldn't be a surprise if he’s granted bail again and still absconds again. This is Nigeria. Anything can happen

But it seem the judge in charge is ready to uphold the law, although there are tons of reasons to be skeptical of the case following through a messy scripts, prosecutions or heavy jail terms, there's a lesson in making a man stand in trial against his own choices and decisions in life and also the spark of hope it gives to every pensioners who rightfully own that money. And also to be reminded that the law in his full swing can't be escape if guilty, it's a 360 degree, it will always catch up, even on old times.
