Kai Havertz admits himself and Kai Havertz are not at the height of their game last season, but he purely reckon the efforts of the team has earned them a bit of respite.

He said during an interview over the weekend;

“Of course I want to start, but sometimes your own ego has to take a back seat. The team is always the most important. For me and Timo at Chelsea, maybe we weren’t successful on a personal level.

But as a team, we were very successful.”

Hopefully, the commencement of the coming anticipated season will be more successful for the two Germans on a personal level. Time will tell.
