Kevin Hart says that comics feel censored and have lost the freedom once attached to their craft. “You’re thinking that things you say will come back and bite you on the ass. I can’t be the comic today that I was when I got into this.”

Paraphrasing.... Eddie Murphy "Some of my old stand up was harmful" Kat Williams "If you can't do stand up comedy w/o being harmful, maybe this ain't for you"

Its imperative in modern times that stand up comedians just gotta get more creative and stop relying on offensive shock comedy. If you can’t tell a joke that doesn’t have a sprinkle or more of homophobia, sexism, etc, then evaluate your talent as a comedian.
