The residents of Adelayo Street in Jah-Michael community, Olorunda area of Lagos State, have been thrown into confusion following the discovery of the lifeless bodies of eight children inside a Honda Pilot jeep with registration number AAA-157BD parked inside a fenced house.

The bodies of the children, aged between four to nine years old, were discovered at about 5 p.m. on Saturday evening when Saliat Kazeem, who wanted to feed her granddaughter called for help after finding the children trapped inside the vehicle.

Saliat, the owner of the building where the unfortunate event took place, was asleep when her granddaughter along with the other children, entered and got trapped inside the vehicle eventually dying of suffocation.

The eight children who died are reportedly from four different families with a family having three, another having two, one other also having two and the granddaughter of Saliat Kazeem.

The building has been sealed off and investigation has commenced with the depositing of the bodies at the city morgue for an autopsy to determine the actual cause of death.

As you may have guessed already, some of the residents have held meetings and are speculating that there's more than meets the eye.
