The Nigerian aviation is set to resume local travel on Wednesday 8th or July 2020, this latest development in the aviation industry is guided by the Nigerian who made the announcement few days ago.

Nigeria shut its airports to non-essential flights in March, in bank attempt to checkmate the spread of covid-19. But the Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika, announced the new dates for resumption of flights for Wednesday 8th 2020.

The Ministry of Aviation’s spokesperson, James Odaudu, made the statement while Mr Sirika also disclosed that only the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport Abuja and the Murtala Muhammed Airport in Lagos will commence operations on July 8.

The Kano, Port Harcourt, Owerri, and Maiduguri airports will subsequently open to flights on July 11, while other airports across the country will join the action on July 15.

Hopefully, international operation will resume shortly following this latest development in the Aviation industry.
