NEGATIVE REACTIONS TRAIL MUCH ANTICIPATED MOVIE SEQUEL CHIEF DADDY 2

Nigerians have been reacting on "Chief Daddy" the movie. Reactions on the cast and crew is very frustrating. Here are some of the reactions from viewers who feel aggrieved;

I’m back to talk about Chief Daddy 2 because I feel like we’re being taken advantage of, like we’re Nigerians and we must accept nonsense. All those amazing talents in the movie and they accepted to do the film? Why? Why did Funke Akindele, Kate Henshaw, FALZ, JOKE SILVA,

Shaffy Bello agreed to make that film? WHY? Because it’s a Netflix film? Beverly Naya looked bored all through the movie, I felt it in my soul but she still took the role.

Mawuli! If I deck you from here your abs will disappear. No passion, nothing, he was just reading lines. Goodness! Ini Edo barely said a word and Linda Ejiofor gave the barest minimum with her expressions. We know Linda is a great actress and her face tells the story but in chief daddy, e be like kindergarten actress.

I’m so angry. It’s my fault, I entered 2022 expecting to much.

I understand many of us are kinda disappointed about the #ChiefDaddy2 movie. But the movie has never been perceived as a "strict & serious" one from the part 1. So, I don't understand why many of us feel so disappointed with it the part 2. Anyways, it's all about choice sha.

Personally, I enjoyed it cos it's all Vibes & Ishallah.  But one thing was clear: FAMILY IS FAMILY & IT'S THE STRONGEST BOND EVER! And that's exactly what the movie focused on (But ofcos in a very unusual & comical way that might not sit well with other people's sense of humour)

I couldn't watch #ChiefDaddy to the end, so I didn't bother to watch the sequel. Mo Abudu needs to go back to the drawing board. Something is not right.

I was so tired but was looking forward to the movie…..after 10 mins I slept off………..when I woke up I asked my wife what did I miss…..her response: I should have slept too……..LOL

I always wonder why good actors accept bad movies. Did they not read the script? Is it all for the pay?
