NIGERIA GOVERNMENT TOOK STOCK OF SUSPENDED EUROPEAN COVID-19 VACCINES
The Astra/Zeneca vaccines that has been banned in Europe is been embraced by the Nigerian government
A Chairperson of the Ministerial Advisory Committee on Covid-19 vaccines, Professor Barry Schoub has suggested that the roll out of AstraZeneca's vaccine should be SUSPENDED The vaccines is expiring soon and has been banned in Europe. It's a total waste of the tax payers money and a life out at risk for no sensible gain.
But the Nigerian government had took stock of the said production and embark on distribution and vaccination exercise, the government was well aware that the vaccine is been banned in Europe, but continue with plan for vaccination. Even top officials in the country ranging from the president and his vice hand been vaccinated.
This is a results of placing politics ahead of human lifes and science. Politicians prioritize optics over basic principles of science and it's really a destructive means to the general populace especially in Nigeria and Africa as a whole, human life's means nothing to callous politicians, their pockets and position of power means more to them
Although, it's possible the vaccines expiry dates is still intact when they took thiers, but we implore all Nigerians who might be looking to be vaccinated to insist on seeing the expiry dates before been vaccinated to be sure of what's been administered into their system.
