NIGERIANS REACT AS NIMC PLACES REGISTRATION DEADLINE ON NATIONAL IDENTIFICATION NUMBER (NIN)

Nigerians have reacted to the directives of NIMC to the deadline placed on the acquiring of the national identification number mandated for  sim registrations. The body has placed two weeks ultimatum on acquiring the NIN needed for the registration. The deadline will definitely expose the teeming populations to Covid-19 infections, in the wake of the surge in the second wave of the virus, things like these shouldn't have come up. Here are some reactions on the recent NIMC directives.

They canceled all concerts because of Covid-19 but here's NIMC, a government office filled with hundreds of people. This government is tactless, In this country, the led are like those leading, foolish people everywhere. Instead of protesting this be done rightly they rush like crab to NIN centers, stupid deadline by minister & agencies with akara school DGs who could not tell him its impossible to do what he wants to do in 2 weeks even in one year, even in a covid-19 ravaged season.

NDLEA SWAT are out there picking up the baton SARS left. They shut down Bars in Lagos because of COVID-19 yet thousands of People are gathered at the NIMC office. Watching Nigerians suffer gives this Government orgasm. If we all can recall, the same number we were told to activate with NIN or NIMC was used to register to the so called NIN NIMC. Considering the case of security and tracking the bad eggs, this is a joke because the telecommunications already have our details.

But for several years, the government has been urging Nigerians to enroll in the NIMC because of its important, especially the National Identification Number (NIN), I enrolled in 2012, but unfortunately not many heeded the call. Just don’t know why, Nigerians love last minute thing. For several years, This is no matter of last minute or Interest of registration. Your matter and the situation on ground shows something is about to happen with the issue of NIN or NIMC.

I didn't enroll, i only found out that i had when i dailed the *346# code. I later came to understand that mine was enrolled using my BVN, that the CBN sent BVNs to NIMC to enroll those that aren't already on their data base. It's not a lie, what this means is that his BVN has been harmonised with the NIMC data base, so automatically he has a NIN number. He only needs to go NIMC office for modification.

That’s why they’re forcing everybody to enroll now... This isthe social media bill and everyone is falling for it unknowingly.
