OBASANJO MADE HIS MIND KNOWN ABOUT ANY MILITARY INTERVENTION

The former president, Chief Oluesegun Obasanjo made his mind known about the souring rumour of a possible military take over. He made this comment when he hosted Hajia Aisha Buhari, the wife of the APC presidential candidate in his hilltop mansion in abeokuta, in his word he said “I am happy the country has gone over the rumour of a possible set-up of an interim government but he also hope the country will go past the other possible rumour of a military take over. He said the said action will ruin Nigerian chances of putting up good examples among African Nations and the world in general. He also posited that there are regulatory standards to becoming members in the African and world communities and. Breaching the standards will make nigeria lose his memberships and going back to the old ways will really set nigeria back a million times over. According to him, Nigeria has all it takes to dictate the pace for other countries in Africa, adding that Nigerians should blame themselves for where “it is today.” this kinda thinking and warnings overtime has generated aa particular popular questions which is; Is the present government capable of delivering a peaceful transition of power if need be?
