OFF-WHITE CEO AND LOUIS VUITTON FASHION DESIGNER PASSES AWAY
Louis-Vuitton artistic designer and fashion icon popularly known for his men's wear collection and street wear advocation passed away at 41.
Louis Vuitton took to social media on Sunday November 28th to announce the passing of long time collaborator and Off-White CEO, Virgil Abloh who was aged 41 years old.
According to the statement, Virgil had been battling cancer privately for several years.
Louis Vuitton CEO, Bernard Arnault, also reveals that the news of Virgil's death really shook him and adds that Virgil was not only a genius designer but he also had a "beautiful soul and great wisdom".
Virgil was friends with lots of celebrities not only in the fashion world but in the music industry as he was also a professional DJ.
He was the first African-American artistic director for Louis Vuitton in the brand's entire 167 years of existence.
RIP to a great visionary and we're sending love and well wishes to his family and loved ones.
