In a move that been called a “Black Friday of rights slashing,” the Ontario government has given police the power to randomly stop vehicles to ask about an individual’s reasons for leaving their home. Refusing to answer may result in a $750 fine. This is because Ontario hit another record in it ICUs with 719 Covid patients in total. There were 82 new admissions Friday. 

Ontario Public health officials have been warning the Ontario government about a crushing third wave for months, but health-care workers say the government didn't listen and its slow reactions may have cost lives....I believe that these new measures called for by Doug Ford are in direct conflict with our Charter of Rights and Freedoms. Further, they place all of our active frontline members in an untenable position when directed by politicians to enforce these measures.

"I think what we learned essentially seals the fate for Ontario. We're going to be treating patients in Ontario's ICUs," Dr. Michael Warner says.I watched the premier of Ontario on live national television ask the @PremierofNL for help in a time of great crisis. growing up i never imagined I would see such a day. But here we are and it's scary. All these may have justifies the lockdown breach penalty of such amount of money.
