There appears to be a brewing tussle of power on the part of the president and the Nigerian senate.

The federal government and the senate over the Magu an EFCC most senior officer which was set up by law to fight corruption. Really?

Magu in question was advices by the house of senate to resign over the allegation of diverting funds meant for internally displaced person. Hmmm what a way to be corrupt.

Senate insisted that such an upheld legitimate tool of fighting corruption shouldn’t be headed by such unfair conscience

The diction my of the whole issue boils down to two things, one maybe the senate and the house in general is scared of what Magi already have in stock for them of that Mahi really didn’t deserve to be in the place.

The Presidency mix in the whole issue is the most puzzling effect of the entire scenario that Mr president could write the senate back after such allegations have been leveled on him claiming it has investigated the matter and have complete confidence in Mr Magu’s innocence as Mr President is presumed to be a very upright man and doesn’t deal with corrupt people suggests something is brewing.

It will be very interesting to witness the outcome of all these dramas as it unfold further.

As the distinguished senator opined that
” When it comes to fighting corruption in the legislative and other part of the country the federal government use insecticides but when it comes to the presidency it uses deodorant”

Keep your fingers crossed and your lapse closed.
