REACTIONS AS GOV MAKINDE TEST RUN THE BIKES HE BOUGHT FOR SECRETARIAT STAFFS
Gov. Seyi Makinde test run one of the bikes he bought for oyo workers; Nigerians reaction are priceless.
People have reacted to Gov. Makinde's bicycle purchase for secretariat staff to move around in the ministry, while unveiling the bike, he said movement within the governors secretariat shouldn't be based on trekking alone while the governors office is a big community which will accommodates a means of transportation like the bicycles, he said the purchase of those bikes is part of his efforts to make work life easier for his compatriots working with the state government.
But people's reaction have been negative to this latest development, while some say he bought bulletproof cars for himself and closer allies, all he could buy for his staff is a bike, placing more emphasize on the numbers of cars available to his office, they insist his effort would've been well appreciated if he had made provisions for transportation within the secretariat with NAPEP riders moving people around for free.
More concerns are raised about people who doesn't know how to ride a bicycle from childhood, how useful is the bike for them as they assumed it's too late to start learning how to ride a bike at an old age. Although, Gov. Makinde intention is well understood by all, they claim it's an effort with it accomplishment directed in the wrong directions.
