In Oyigbo town, there were confrontations between IPOB members and security personnel during the #endsars  protest.
Nnamdi Kanu fanned the embers of violence with his live broadcast whih emboldened his loyalist to attack military installations personnel.
There were casualties on both sides.

Governor Wike imposed a curfew and more troops were sent to Oyigbo to restore law and order, the heavy presence of the military decorated the town, the fear of indiscriminate arrest and stray bullets forced everyone indoors. No shops are opened, no place to purchase anything.

Before anyone could understand it, Oyigbo has turned into a war zone. First these nonsensical followers of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu started by burning trucks carrying onions to the state and a major onion market was set ablaze too on his directives, police stations was razed to the ground and they started killing military personel, then it later turned to a tribal war. Then the army was invited and they've come with guns blazing arresting and shooting. It's now.

But we have asked for people's coment and this is what we got:

Nigerian soldiers are committing genocide in oyigbo, massacring innocent people. Oyigbo needs help even governor wike is not saying anything cos he said is ipob, but only God in heaven knows that's not true. No market ,no bank is working ,no freedom of movement .

Why is it that our military cannot perform their functions in a professional manner, Whenever a soldier dies even while doing something wrong they'll always transfer their anger on innocent persons by killing and intimidation, no room is given to investigation. Oyigbo is in turmoil. The inconsiderate curfew plus fear of indiscriminate arrest and stray bullets have kept people indoors. No food, no palliative.

Soldiers burnt down houses days ago in retaliation for a slain soldier. Hunger is seriously in the midst of the people. There's a heavy presence of the military, military helicopter flying over the roofs and frequent shooting by the military. A week ago, young boys above 15 had to leave town for fear of been killed or arrested for punishment.
