While Akon is providing electricity for 60million people in africa. Didier Drogba built an hospital in Côte d’Ivoire, Sadio Mane, Christians Ronaldo and a host of others were making their deep pocket felt by giving back to their countries and immediate societies. But such couldn’t be said of Nigerian heavy weights and celebrity, although some Nigerian footballers like; Kanu Nwankwo and Odion Ighalo did a little to emulate their over generous footballing colleague, it could be said that Nigerian celebrities ain’t doing enough in giving back to their society.

It’s easy to spot the decay and ruins that has encapsulated the society in just one look and furtherly easy to point accusing fingers on the government as been responsible for these humongous ruins, but are individuals and society doing enough, are each and everyone one playing his or her role to better the lot of the land? This answer is outrightly NO, everybody, companies, organizations, societies and the government at large are culpable and subsequently responsible for the state of the Nigerian nation as it were.

Needless to say that it’s a collective responsibility to come to the aid of nigeria and do better by it, all hands need to be on deck to make it a greater country which it was presumed to be since inception, the teeming population of Nigerian stars, both musical, movies, footballing and all other sport juggernaut has a role to play and a thing or two to give back in order to make the country a better place to behold, it’s only unfortunate that the stars are suckers for frivolities and materials fulfillment’s rather than in human and societal development. It’s no gain saying that these bunch of rich ambassadors prefer to spend fortunes on cars, clothings and drinks on a night in a club than seeking human fulfillment’s among their peers who ain’t soo lucky.

Therefore, there’s a responsibility placed on everyone’s shoulders to make things work and subsequently bring the right thing to the table, it’s evidently so that the country is in desperate need of a hand in all spheres of its existence, and it’s not enough to place and expect everything and leave every decay into the hand of incompetent governmental structure who has plagued the nation till date, it will bring enormous relief and over joyed experience if able individuals start contributing their quota to the nigerian nation.

I hang my Pen for now.
