The Nigerian youth and music industry have put Nigeria on a global stage again, the winning of Grammy by wizkid Ayo and Burnaboy has also give more cognizance to the Afro fusion music genre and more musicians will be showing an interesting face for the Nigerian music now. More often the youth have put Nigeria in a global stage for relevance and recognition with their heroic exploits,

Its no gainsaying that  Nigeria is a nation blessed with natural and human resources for greatness but maladministration, selfishness and greediness on the path of the leaders has been the problem why the country is still backward in development.. it's easier for the Nigerian leaders who have contributed to the retrogression of the nation to come up now eulogizing the effort of the young people in making Nigeria great again.

Imagine a president Buhari sending a congratulatory message to Grammy winners, is he in the position to do so even as a leader of the country, a leader who called his youth lazy, a leader who send soldiers with life ammunition's  to his protesting youth, a leader who has never lifted a finger to make the life of the citizens better in any area.

Now that the award have carved a new name for the Nigerian entertainment industry, there are tons of benefits and advantages to be coming the way of the industry in matter of international collaborations and deals, more exposure and recognitions will be directed to the industry from the foreign scene, it also mean more financial accessibilities to further explore areas which hasn't been explored.

But despite this wins and support we have been talking about, there's no single contributions or support to be expected from the Nigerian government, the way Nigerian government have turn a blind eye to lucrative entertainment community in the country despite foreign support only shows the cluelessness and body language of the government in power.

Expecting any tangible resolve or support from the Nigerian government is like expecting a dead man to breath and walk after he's been long dead and buried. Although, the president has offered his congratulatory message to the winners, thats all there's to what he's willing and capable of achieving or contributing to the success, nothing more, nothing less.
