THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT, CATHOLIC CHURCH & REV. FATHER EJIKA MBAKA’S SUSPENSION

The Catholic Church bishop in Enugu have suspended Rev. Fr EJIKA MBAKA due to his row with the federal government. But some catholic are trying to divorce the bishop's action from the Catholic Church.

The bishop is the symbol of authority of catholic Church in enugu so whatever he says or does is in line with the catholic, so its sane to say catholic Church suspended him cause its the church representative. It seems the Nigerian government is fast getting every opposition of his into trouble. Now the general populace believe is that the church has been politicized.

On the suspension, Fr. Mbaka is a priest of the Catholic church and so he has his primary responsibilities as a priest and not engaging in partisan politics reason for his suspension and not because of presidency. If this is the case, why was Mbaka not suspended in 2015 when he proclaimed that Buhari was the Messiah, why is he being suspended by the Catholic Church for calling for Buhari's resignation now.

The Rev. Fr said the truth about the government, while everyone was waiting for the Afederal government to refute his claim, they mounted pressure on the catholic church to suspend him. But he asked didn't samuel anointed saul? Yet it didn't work out but does that mean it's not of the Lord.
