THE LEGACIES OF CHICO EJIRO DRAWS HEART WARMING RESPONSES FROM NIGERIAN MOVIE LOVERS

The EJIRO name always draw a significant recognitions from all Nigerian movies lovers from the 80s, 90s, and the 20s. His death has come as a rude shock for all Nigerians and the encomium pouring in on his demise suggests he's well loved by Nigerians, here are some heart felt reactions to celebrate his legacies.

RIP Chico Ejiro. This is the guy who inspired me the most as a film maker. His work ethic is unmatched and he's one of the pioneers of the industry we have now. One of the most prominent names I see on movie credits growing up and as an aspiring filmmaker. A Nollywood and the film industry Icon, I would say. May his soul Rest In Peace.

Spent parts of my growing up sat beside him while he directed. He never got tired of my million and one questions or thoughts about how to shoot a scene. This life is a pot of beans, Chico was filming few days ago and now he is no more. Life is too short. Death is something that is really hard to understand.  You see someone today by the following day the person is dead. He was amongst those who laid the foundation of Nollywood.  Adieu.

Heard he died of Seizure, he finished directing a new film yesterday and died at the early hours of this morning. Why is it that 'RIP' is the only way to celebrate a 'VIP'? I can't imagine the level of joy that would filled the heart of this man if you had said this to him while he was alive. This tweet is not to call you out, but rather for us all to make amends. This is heartbreaking, he was a wonderful intellect and a great filmmaker. Though he's gone but his works are forever etched in our hearts - Rest in Peace to a Maestro. What a great loss.... One of the legendary figure of the EJIRO's dynasty of nigeria entertainment industry. Sad, sad news. May his soul Rest In Peace. I’m not sure if I ever met him, but I know that he let us all into his heart through his films. A Nollywood legend. May he live on through his legacy.

Oh my goodness. We attend the same church and i haven't seen him or the family in a while. What could have happened to him? May his gentle soul Rest In Peace. What a bombshell! .I became so glued during my youthful age oweing to his outstanding and evergreen movies TBH.. He stands out as a rare gem.. Adieu
