THE MISCONSTRUED BRAVERY: A TALE OF A NIGERIAN SENATOR

It’s a pity to see how cowardice a seemingly brave man is when it comes to accounting for their sins, a serving senator jumping out of a police van simply because he’s scared of spending a night or two in a police cell in a country where bail is free narrated a lot about the huge gap between a societal class and another. Whereas a common man in the country experiences arrests of such on a regular basis and thus faced the consequences of his actions that’s if he’s actually guilty of such actions, but leaders couldn’t even be brave enough to show he’s a leader in such circumstances.

To think of the fact that a serving senator could stope so low to brazenly in public disgrace himself and take pride in his faulty actions shows the country needs am emergence resurgence as of who occupy those political offices and makes decisions for the entire nation as a whole, prior to now, the senator has never appealed to the electorate as a serious lawmaker and most of his antics have shown he’s rather a joke than a serious mind occupying a very important office for his constituency, his song composing attributes, dancing videos and jumping techniques might have break banks in the Mollywood entertainment industry if he had chosen to tow that line and he would’ve received a might accolades and several awards in such space.

But in a senator position, the guy is a total shamble and a national disgrace not only to his constituency but to the entire Nigerian political space, the actions of these politicians are far becoming a more elaborated public nuisance and disgrace to say the least and in furtherance, continually exercebate the ruins in the Nigerian political office holders. As far as we know, the law of the land says “not guilty until proven so” but through his deeds and techniques he’s been deploying to resist or avoid an arrest has already indicated clearly that he’s guilty of the crime he’s accused of, even if it’s so, one will expect an outspoken Dino Malaye, been a union boy in his undergraduate days to bravenly face such repercussions as a man he has claimed to be, but instead, he choose to disgrace himself and in the process his cowardice mind is on display at large.

Needless to say that the Nigerian voters have huge work on their hand in choosing new office holder come next year, people like these are not fit to lead, massive lessons is to be learned ahead of the forth coming elections and voters are suppose to use these lessons to their advantage to make the right decisions. Its of time to right previous wrongs at the poll come next election.
