The republic of Chad and its citizens has just lost its president. General Mahamat Kaka Deby. He was re-elected into office weeks ago but unfortunately lost his life few days into office for the sixth term. It was established that he died due to injuries he suffered during his heroic frontline battle while fighting the rebels on the north side of the Sahel province.

General Mahamat Kaka Deby, son of late President Idris Deby of Chad who was killed by his own soldiers in battle front on Tuesday, days after winning a 6th term in office, takes over in the interim. Upon his death, it was decided that the military council will be led by the late president's son Mahamat Idriss Deby Itno, a 37 year old four star general and a frontline fighter of the oppositions.

The sudden demise left a gap in the military settings of the rebel ridden country and the space must be instantly filled so as to reposition the country militarily to face the rebel fighting to take the Sahel province from the republic.

Further information on proceedings will be available to the public shortly.
