Former President Donald Trump refuse to testify on his senate trial
Former President Donald Trump has refuse to testify in next weeks senate trial which he was invited. His reasons basically on assuming he's a former president and his few days in office can not be use against him in the court of law. He has emphatically says No Way to the invites since day one. Basically so, Trump is adamantly drying lawsuits under the pretence of a firmer president.
His decisons not to testify may create a tactical moves in the house if decided to pursue further, a subpoena will need a larger percentage of either party which is at the moment balanced on a 50/50 candidature. A tactical war might be sparked by individual differences and interests in this regard. Also, the republicans might not want to escalate Trump's destructive antics anymore, so sweeping some under the rug will do a lot of good.
It will be interesting to see how this go in the end.
