UNCOMFORTABLE APC LEADERS JET OUT TO FETCH PRESIDENT ELECTS

The sudden disappeareance of the president elect (GMB) which is schedule to take over office on friday as the newly elected Nigerian President to London has cast a mist of worry and uncomfort in the highest echelon of the APC.

It was gathered that the elected President didnt inform the leaders of the party on his sudden trip to London, this gives for an uncomfortable reaction in the party leadership and immediately prompt the leaders of the party to join him in the UK.

The elected president on monday only travelled with his two personal aides and said to have made all necessary arrangements for this trip as his regurlar trip base in london has been arrangedly booked and was welcome by his friend of many years Alh. Mamman Daura.

Although the Nigerian British high commission got wind of his arrival and promptly made some excellency arragement for him but he courteously denied all of this as he purposely maintained that his trip isnt an official visit and insisted that it shoulde be treated as such.

The trip was for the elected president to meet with the UK Prime Minister and possibly discuss with him how to bring about lasting solutions to some burning issues in the Nigerian polity such as; corruption, secutiy, unemployement and so on.

His sudden trip without warning Immediately cast the APC chieftains into a worrisome boarders which made them to hurriedly left for the UK. Notable among them are the former governor of Lagos state, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Rivers state governor, Rotimi Amaechi.

it was gathered that their worries gave them no room for their usual way of travelling as they couldnt secure a first class travelling mode in an unfamiliar travelling aircraft available as at the time of their depature.

Buhari is expected to stay in the UK till wednesday night before returning just a day before his inauguration as the president of Nigeria, but his trip is a source of worry for the APC leaders.
