Manchester United could face a points deduction after fans forced the postponement of their Premier League fixture with Liverpool. But by all fairness, punishing a club for trouble caused inside a ground with fans attending,  but how can a club be held responsible for this, it's like charging homeowners for a burglar breaking in to their home.

But really, let's look at it this way. The owners voted for ESL then we heard ‘Don’t punish the fans, staff & players’ with points deductions etc. The fans act like animals & it’s ‘Don’t punish the club’.  Fact! The owners are the club, the players are the club, the staff are the club, the fans are the club. It’s time to bring all these to account.

If Man U had to be punished fairly, the grievous sins of the Super League must be revisited. ESL clubs should be issued a points deduction, banned for 1 year from UEFA competitions, 12 month transfer embargo. Man Utd should be made to forfeit the Liverpool game 0-3 & hit with points deduction. That's standard precedence.  Clubs are responsible for fan behavior typically even if they can't control it, it's pretty fair.
