Thousands flocked to watch volcanic eruptions in Mount Fagradalsfjall, Iceland, a heavy tourist site right now. Authorities had initially cordoned off the area, but later allowed people to get close & witness. But we are still talking about fire caused by volcanic eruption. This is the first eruption in the Reykjanes Peninsula in about 800 years and it is not expected to threaten any population centers, but it does provide a unique opportunity to study the geologic mysteries of the region. Lava flows from the erupting Fagradalsfjall volcano some 40 km west of the Icelandic capital Reykjavik, on March 23, 2021. - Weekend hikers took the opportunity Sunday to inspect the area where a volcano erupted in Iceland on March 19, some 40 kilometres (25 miles) from the capital Reykjavik, the Icelandic Meteorological Office said, as a red cloud lit up the night sky and a no-fly zone was established in the area.

The intricacies is that the recent eruption in the mountain of Reykjanes is a wake up call, the spot has always been a peaceful and silent place which isn't ranked to experience such eruption at anytime. It's upto 800yrs a thing like this happened, so it recent occurrence sends a dangerous signal to meteorologist around the world and further put them on their toes to work on further projections which might be overlooked due to a longer span of no eruption since the existence of the peninsula.
