CHECKMATING NIGERIAN LAWMAKERS AND IT FAULTY SYSTEM

Health officers in Nigeria have down tools because of the default in the payment of #5000 hazard allowance. Since the inception of this allowance, federal government have always defaulted in the prompt payment of the said fee, even in a period of a pandemic world, when all countries have tried to increase and rejigger health workers pay, the Nigerian government continue to default in its payment of the fee.

But a senator is paid 1.2 million naira monthly for the same hazard allowance and the government have never defaulted in paying such fee, even in a pandemic world where everything about health and its workers has been revisited by a sane and sound house of legislature around the world. The way and manner the country Nigeria is been run is  quite a pathetic scene to behold.

Right now, when there country needed them most, they have been forced to go on strike due to the default in payment of the stipend meant to be received by them, it's pathetic that no matter what the country is experiencing at a time, in matters of financial scarcity or whatever, the Nigerian lawmakers have never lacked or failed to receive their payment at anytime, even when Nigeria is facing a hard time through the drop in demand for crude, the house was able to buy exoens Ce automobiles for themselves.

Something must change in the way this country is been run, else its destined to be run to the ground by these inconsiderate old men in those house of law making. Nigerians as a whole need to identify the lawmakers as its enemy and find a way to sort them out before things can start looking good for the entire populace.
