The police command in Amambra, Enugu state capital have vow to resist any pro Biafra agitators ordering the people of the state to stay at home and observe a sit at home policy in solidarity with the Biafra agitations.

The police said any order preventing residents from going about their daily activities which doesn't come from a constituted authority is against the law and the police force will not fold its hand and allow some disgruntled element distrupt the daily living, peace and security of the state.

The police described the agitators as troublemakers and enemies of public peace and the force will treat them accordingly. The command also reiterated its resolve to collaborate with security agencies and peace-loving citizens to adequately provide public security and safety, enforce and maintain law and order in the state.

In a statement released by the force, it reiterate it measures and resolve to continually provide security and an enabling environment for the citizens of the state as this is the first perogative of it existence.
