John McAfee the popular anti virus creator dies in jail on suspected suicide after facing a life sentence in U. S prison
John McAfee has been found dead in prison of suspected suicide after he was cleared to be extradited to the United States on Wednesday, according to various reports.
McAfee was facing charges of tax evasion and securities fraud and was being held in prison, pending extradition to the US, after being arrested in October 2020.
Spain’s National Court on Monday ruled in favor of extraditing McAfee, who had argued in a hearing earlier this month that the charges against him by prosecutors in Tenessee were politically motivated and that he would spend the rest of his life in prison if he was returned to the U.S.
But the Department of Justice confirmed that the American tycoon was found dead in the cell he occupied in the Brians 2 Penitentiary Center. He was seventy-five years old.
The man was an outlaw grifter and real life “world most interesting man.” His rip back to mainstream in 2017 was beyond epic and entertaining. His life is deserving of a movie.
