The Russian is set to sell his assets in England including his most priced Chelseafc
Roman Abramovich might sell Chelseafc if he could get a buyer to part with £4b. Following pressure from European countries who are placing sanctions on Russian assets.
According to various reports, the Russian owner is looking for a quick sale of the club he bought in 2003.
Chelsea board believe a sale to a US tycoon is their best option, while Swiss billionaire Hansjorg Wyss has claimed he’s been offered the chance to buy the club.
The news comes after Abramovich moved to step away from Chelsea following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
He released a statement over the weekend attempting to hand the ‘stewardship and care’ of Chelsea to the club’s charitable foundation trustees.
