The Copa America have been moved from Argentina to Brazil for the fear of spreading the pandemic, but the rationale behind the decision couldn’t be understood
The Copa America has been moved out of Argentina to Brazil 13 days before it is due to start over COVID-19 concerns. It's a Shame because Brazil has a chaotic healthy situation due to the president mindset about covid-19, he avoided many times to buy vaccine, and frequently people shows their displeasure in the streets. South America is looking for changes and no one wants the Copa America in place of a good health.
The move doesn't make any sense at all due to Brasil covid's situation which is the same/worse than the one in Argentina. The federation should've moved the Copa America to USA or Chile if they wanted to do a COVID-19 safe event, that said... CONMEBOL ONLY CARES ABOUT THE MONEY.
The amount of money they made when they play it in USA was insane. Moving to Brazil is politics and corruption. If Conmebol was really serious about safeguarding the people against the pandemic, they would suspended the competition. There's no atmosphere in any south american county to host the Copa America successfully without the fear of another spread of the pandemic.
