BENUE BATTLES COVID-19 AMIDST HIGHER HIERARCHY

Benue State is the recent name in the covid-19 battle in nigeria with the long list of government officials tested positive to the corona virus, the second wave of the virus spread is proving very difficult to handle as huge numbers of positive tests keeps running in by the day, about forty people in the higher hierarchy in Benue have contacted the sickness in recent days.

Benue State Governor, David Umahi; Secretary to the Benue State Government, Prof. Tony Ijohor; Chief of Staff to Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue State, Mr. Terwase Ortunde; Head of Service for Benue State, Mrs. Veronica Onyeke and the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Administration), Benue State University, Markurdi, Prof. Godwin Achinge have all tested positive for the coronavirus disease.
