The Israeli Hamas crisis keeps escalating following a fresh attack on both ends. Israeli fighter jets dropped two bombs on a 14-story building in Gaza City, destroying it. The building housed offices for Hamas’ Al-Aqsa satellite TV channel, as well as other businesses. Hamas says it fired 130 rockets toward Israel in response.

An Israeli airstrike has killed Gaza City commander Bassem Issa who is the highest-ranking military figure in Hamas to be killed since the 2014 war. A UN envoy warned that the conflict between Hamas and Israel risked spiralling into 'all-out war'

A curfew has been enacted in Lod between 8pm and 4am. "People are not allowed to be in public places, people are not allowed to leave the house, people are not allowed to enter the city," an Israeli police spokesman said

The U.S. President Joe Biden has spoken with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and says “Israel has a right to defend itself” amid a barrage of rockets fired from Gaza. Israel escalated its air campaign in Gaza on Wednesday.

It's important the two sides stop the fire immediately. It's  escalating towards a full scale war. Leaders on all sides have to take the responsibility of deescalation. The cost of war in Gaza is devastating and is being paid by ordinary people. UN is working with all sides to restore calm, the violence must stop now.
