KARIM BENZEMA SET FOR NATIONAL TEAM RETURN
The French striker will be included in the euro squad to participate in the tournament
Kareem Benzema has been named as the best French footballer playing abroad. The Madrid forward has also been called back into national team action following his absence for almost six years.
Benzema in 2019 said to "Noël (FFF President), I thought you didn't interfere with the manager's choices? Know that I & I alone will bring an end to my international career. If you think I'm done, let me play for a country that I am eligible for."
He last played for the French national team on 8th of October 2015 against Armenia. He has 81 caps and 27 goals under his belt. He has the 10th highest tally for his country.
Benzema will be included in France's squad for the Euros. It's easy to arrive at the conclusion that France will be a force to reckon with as the French team with the inclusion of Karim Benzema is a lethal team.
