VICE PRESIDENT YEMI OSINBAJO TAKE PART IN PRAYER SESSION FOR NIGERIA REBIRTH

The Vice President take part in a prayer session organized by the former president of Nigeria, Yakubu Gowon, titled The Rebirthof Nigeria". The leaders rather than implementing policies to change the cause of history resolve to prayer as their believes offered them. The following are the submission of the Vice President on the prayer session.

I had the utmost pleasure and privilege of speaking at the National Prayer Breakfast Event with the theme: The Birth of a New Nation. Coming at a time of great travail and tribulation for the nation following the Covid-19 pandemic, this theme reiterates God’s plan for us, his people, as seen in Elisha’s story from 2 Kings 2:19-22.

Just like other parts of the scripture, we see that the children of God are central to the birth and rebirths of nations. In this story, people turned to God as opposed to man-made solutions. With this, the land was healed, the people prospered and peace and joy prevailed.

The word of God defies logic or human thinking. His methods of revealing things depends on who it is, and also comes in many forms. I believe a new Nigeria has already been birthed, however, it is covered by a cloud, one that God will lift in due time, bringing us to a new nation.

I would once again like to thank the organizers, the Coalition of Intercessors, the Christian Association of Nigeria, and the father of the Nigerian Prayers Movement, General Yakubu Gowan, for this invitation and unwavering commitment and dedication to keeping Nigeria one.

Hopefulky, the prayer session will offer the most needed deliverance the country much needed.
