AKON LAMENTS THE IMPACTS P SQUARE SEPARATION HAVE ON HIM
Senegalese-American singer, Akon, has admitted that he was heartbroken when Nigerian music duo, P-Square, broke up.
At the Expo 2020 Dubai, Akon revealed to Channels television that P Square's separation broke his heart because they are "family" and also expressed that money shouldn't get between them because they are brothers who shared the same womb.
According to the Senegalese-American superstar, the duo's separation may be due to pressure in their careers and personal relationships. He also added that it was "being together that made them who they were".
After over four years of separation and a family feud that saw the twin singing sensation butt heads against each other, to everyone's surprise, the duo reconciled last month and performed some of their songs together during a show in the Sierra Leone capital of Freetown.
The reconciliation was reportedly orchestrated by their elder brother, Jude Okoye in the lead up to their 40th birthday.
Peter and Paul were also seen, in a now viral video, hugging each other, which further confirmed that they had settled their differences.
